2023 wasn't my best year in business. At best, I broke even. I had to rethink my whole business model. So, I have been exploring the bakery world for over a decade, and there have been hundreds of things I have wanted to try. I think 2023 has opened my eyes to realizing that if I try and offer everything, most of my money goes to all the products needed to do so - and a lot of it is either never used or wasted.

How many of you bakers out there have a gazillion cookie cutters? If so, trust me, I get it! I had to get strategic in organizing them so I would stop buying the same one over and over again. There have been some real heartburns during the process of discovering who I am as a baker.

this year I have noticed that social media is KING - not many people care about a website, per se. So, I found a more cost-efficient way to do that. I also came to the conclusion that I don't need to offer such a large plethora of baked goods. I need to downsize to some of the best sellers over the years!

Here's to 2024 and not giving up!
